Online Application Procedure
Step I:- First of all, visit the official website of the Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Puducherry. Its homepage will be displayed on the screen and click on the “Online Services” link available as shown.
Step II:- A new page will open. Click on the option of “Apply for New Ration Card (புதிய குடும்ப அட்டைக்கான விண்ணப்பம்)” link.
Step III:- A page comprising the important instructions to be taken care of will pop up on the screen. Read them carefully. At the bottom of the apge, click on the “Proceed/ தொடரவும்” button.
Step IV:- As you click on it, the following screen will appear. Select your District from the drop-down list and feed the active mobile number. Tick the checkbox and click on the “Send OTP” button to continue.
Step V:- Upon successful verification, you will be led to the next stage of the process. An application form for the service will appear.

- Go to the nearest notary office of the Department of Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Pondicherry.
- Obtain an application form from the concerned office to apply for a new ration card.
- Fill in all the fields carefully.
