The Kerala Voter List for the year 2024 is finally out as per the guidelines of the Election Commission of India. The Chief Electoral Officer of Kerala has released this list on the portal, unlike previous years.

Kerala Voter List
The Chief Electoral Officer of Kerala has released the Voter List for the state. It contains all the electoral details of the citizens who are registered to vote for upcoming elections. Earlier these lists were available in the government offices and citizens had to visit them to check their names in the list. This year, the CEO released the list on the web portal at ceo.kerala.gov.in. The registered users will just have to open the list on the portal, and they can directly check the details there.
Kerala Voter List Objective
The main aim of releasing the voter list on the portal was to reduce the wastage of time of the voters. Earlier, voters had to visit the offices and check for the list there and then find their details. This was highly time-wasting hence, the CEO decided to release the list on the portal. Not only the online mode will be easily accessible but also will save money and resources. Moreover, this will bring transparency to the system.

The decision of releasing the list online is highly beneficial for it will bring transparency to the system. This online portal will not only make the functioning of the department better for the CEO but also benefit the voters. They will be able to check the Voter List simply in their homes and without visiting the government offices. The citizens will also be able to register complaints by contacting the helpdesk without visiting the offices. This will save them time and they can check all the details of the Voter Card directly in the list. The citizens who do not have a voter ID card will be able to apply for one online.
Eligibilty to get Name in Kerala Voter List
The criteria for the eligibility to get registered as a voter to check details in the voter list is as follows:
- Should be an Indian citizen to get a Voter ID Card.
- To check the details in the Voter List of Kerala, the citizen must belong to Kerala.
- Should be at least 18 years old and registered as a voter.
- Have all the necessary documents to register as a voter.
Documents
Voter ID is the only document needed to be able to check details in the Voter List. If a person doesn’t have a Voter ID, their name will not be on the list. To search the list, the citizen needs either the details or the EPIC number. To hold a Voter ID card in the first place, a citizen must have the following documents:
- Passport size photograph
- Aadhar card
- Ration card
- Birth certificate
- Residence certificate
Kerala Voter E-Registration At ceo.kerala.gov.in
To register as a voter, citizens can use the services on the portal. They can register as electors, overseas electors, object to the inclusion of names, correct the entries, track the application status, and transposition within an assembly. To do any of these follow the steps given below:
- Open the official web portal of ceo.kerala.gov.in.
- Click on the “E-Registration” option on the home page.
- Check the service you wish to avail and select the applicable option.
- You will be directed to the NVSP (National Voters Service Portal) where you can apply for any of the above.
Electoral Roll Search
A voter can also search for his/her electoral roll on the portal by either using the details or by using the EPIC number. To search for electoral roll, follow the subsequent steps:
Search by Details
- Open the official website of ceo.kerala.gov.in.
- On the main page, select the “Electoral Roll Search” option.
- A new webpage will open up fo find the electoral roll by details.
- Enter the name of the Voter, Age, Birth Date ,Name of the Father/Husband, Gender, State & District, Assembly Constituency and the captcha code.
- Click on “Search”.
- The electoral roll for the Voter ID whose details are entered will appear on screen. You can also download it.
Search by EPIC number
- Open the official website of ceo.kerala.gov.in.
- Click on the “Electoral Roll Search” option.
- A new webpage will open up fo find the electoral roll either by details or EPIC no. Select the form for EPC no.
- Enter the EPIC No., select the State and decode the captcha code and enter it.
- Click on “Search”.
- The electoral roll for the Voter ID whose EPIC no is entered will appear on screen. You can also download it.
Download Kerala Electoral Roll, New Voter List
The voters need to download the Voter List to check the details of their Voter ID Card. To download the Voter List, go through the following steps:
- Visit the portal of ceo.kerala.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on the “Electoral Roll” option.
- The page to get the booth list for year will open up.
- Select the “District” and “Legislative Assembly Constituency” where Voter ID is registered.
- A booth wise list will appear which will have three electoral roll’s list: Draft, Final and Election.
- Click the appropriate option for the particular Polling Station.
- A new page for downloading the Electoral Roll will appear.
- Decode the captcha to prove that are not a robot.
- Aftr the verification of Captcha, you can finally download the electoral roll.
Download old Voter List
If the voters need to download any of the previous year Voter List, follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official web portal of Chief Electoral Officer, Kerala at ceo.kerala.gov.in.
- In the list given on the homepage, select “Electoral Roll Archives”.
- The page to get Booth wise Voter’s list will appear on the screen.
- Decide the year you wish to search the Voter List for.
- Select the Legislative Assembly Constituency of your Voter ID card.
- Select the polling station whole list you wish to download.
- Click on the number and the list will be downloaded.
BLO or Booth Level Officers
To search for booth level officers or BLO, follow the given steps:
- Open the official website of ceo.kerala.gov.in.
- On the main web page, click on the “BLO” option.
- The page to get the list of booth level officers will open up.
- Select the district, legislative assembly constituency and the booth no/name.
- Click on “Get BLO List”.
- You will get the name, office address and the contact number of the BLO.

List of Political Parties
To check the list of political parties participating in the elections, follow the steps given below:
- Visit the official web portal of Chief Electoral Officer, Kerala at ceo.kerala.gov.in.
- In the list given on the homepage, select “List of Political Parties”.
- You will be directed to another webpage of NVSP or National Voter’s Service Portal.
- Select the option of list to get the list. There are other options available too to check on this portal regarding political parties.
- The list will appear on the screen.

Voters who have certain queries about the Kerala portal can check the FAQs on the portal. To check the FAQs, they will have to spot the “FAQs” option on the home page of the portal and all the commonly asked queries will appear on the screen.
