Residential Criteria
The residential Criterion is the foremost criteria to fulfil for securing the scholarship. It is essential, that the student applying for the scholarship must be a domicile of Kerala State. Until and unless, the students applying, belongs to the state, there is no further application available for all such students.
Educational Criteria
There are also some educational criteria that are essential to be fulfilled by the applying student. These are:

How to Apply for Kerala E-Grantz Scholarship?
Application to the portal can be done online through the portal. Other than that, the student also has the provision to make an offline application through the Akshaya Centers. These centres will provide the students with a hard copy application form. Then, this hard copy has to be submitted along with the other documents to complete the application by the student.
The students can also register for the scheme with help of the online portal. The registration on the portal is convenient and can be completed in a few steps. To register, the students can follow these steps detailed below to apply online:
Step 1: Firstly, go to the official portal page of E-Grantz. On the home page, you will see an option of One-Time Registration (OTR). Click on that option.
Step 2: On the Next directed page, you will see a set of instructions along with the small form where you have to fill in your brief details. It will include your Aadhar number and the name of the student who wants to register. After filling in the complete details, click on the button displaying ‘Validate Aadhar‘.
Step 3: As you validate your Aadhar, you will land on another page where a form will open. So, the next thing you have to do is to enter your other personal details and your mobile number. Adding all the details, click on the button displaying the option ‘Register‘. All your details will be available on your screen.

As you complete the registration on the portal, the next step is to login into the portal to avail all its services and apply for the scholarship. You can log in only after you register on the portal. So, make sure you first register yourself. To, Log in to the portal, you can follow these steps:
Step 1: Firstly, Visit the official portal. Click on the option of LOGIN available at the bottom of the Home page.
Step 2: You will now land on another page, which will be a Login Page. Enter your E-mail address or Aadhar Number and Password which will be given to you. Enter the details and click on the button ‘SIGN IN‘.
Step 3: An application form will now be available on your screen. Fill in the application form by entering all your details. The details on the application form will constitute some basic details, details of your institution, bank, etc.
Step 4: After adding all your details you can now proceed further and click on the ‘Apply‘ option. Clicking on the option a list of scholarships will be available on your device. Select the scholarship.
Step 5: Your application form will appear on your screen. Now, you can finally upload all the documents and click on the ‘Submit button.
How to Track E-Grantz Application Status?
The E-Grantz Portal also offers to check the status of your application. Through the portal, all the students who apply for the scholarships can know whether the application has been accepted or not. To check the status of your application, students can follow these steps:
