How can I apply for the scholarship on NSP scholarships.gov.in?
National Scholarship Portal provides you access to numerous scholarships at central, UGC/ AICTE and state levels. You can apply for these scholarships through one portal only. To apply for any scholarship through NSP online, follow the procedure described below.
Stage I:- New Registration
Step I:- First of all, go to the official website of the National Scholarship Portal. You will see the following homepage on the screen. Click on the “New Registration” option.
Step II:- A new page will open containing all the important Guidelines for Registration for NSP. Read all the guidelines attentively. Tick all the checkboxes available at the end of the page. Tap the “Continue” button.
Step III:- Feed all the required details for registration, such as your personal details, bank account details, type of scholarship, etc. After that, click on the “Register” button at the end.
Step IV:- An OTP will be forwarded to your mobile number for verification. Enter the OTP and upon verification, you can move further in the process to apply for the scholarship.
Stage II: Log in and Apply
Step V:- Click on the “Login to Apply” option available on the menu bar.
Step VI:- Enter your Student Registration ID and password to proceed. Click on the “Login” button.
Step VII:- A new page will appear on the screen. Click on the “Application form”.
Step VIII:- Fill in all your necessary details, such as basic information, academic qualifications, and scholarship you are applying for.
Step IX:- In this step, the candidates need to upload the scanned images of the essential documents in the prescribed format. Click on the “Submit” button.
Step X:- Save a copy of the duly-filled application form for future purposes.
How can I Login to my NSP profile?
Upon successful registration, the applicants can login to their NSP accounts anytime to update their respective profiles, check their application status, change the password, etc. Follow the procedure below for NSP login
Step I:- Firstly, the registered candidates must visit the official website of the National Scholarship Portal. The following homepage will appear. On the top right, click on the “Login” icon as depicted in the picture below.
Step II:- On clicking on the Login drop-down arrow, a list will appear. Choose your desired option.
Step III:- Login to your NSP account by providing your Application ID and Password. Enter the captcha code as same as depicted.
Step IV:- Lastly, hit the “Login” button.
How to retrieve forgotten NSP Login Application ID?
(i) While logging in to the portal, click on the option of “Forgot Application ID?” beneath the Login button.
(ii) The portal provides you two options to recover your forgotten application ID. One by Bank account number and other being Registered mobile number.
(iii) Select your suitable option and proceed accordingly.
(iv) Your Application ID will be displayed on the screen.
(v) Preserve it for future references.
How can I recover my NSP Login Password?
(i) You can simply click on the “Forgot Password?” option during the process to log in.
(ii) Enter your Application ID and captcha code in the space provided.
(iii) Click on the “Next” button.
How to apply for Renewal of Scholarship on NSP login?
The applicants who have already claimed the scholarship must renew the NSP application after one year, esp. the degree students to continue the benefits of the scholarship. Here, in this section, you can check the procedure for the same.
Step I:- First of all, visit the official website of NSP. On the top menu bar, you will find the “Login” icon. Click on the drop-down arrow and then select the Renewal option accordingly.
Step II:- Log in using your previous year application ID and password. Write the exact captcha code in the available space and click on the “Login” button.
Step III:- An application form to renew the scholarship will appear on the screen. Fill in the application form correctly.
Step IV:- Click on the “Submit” button.
