Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this scheme candidate must have these criteria and documents. Those who do not have these criteria cannot apply for scholarships. Their application will be rejected in the next stages.

1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of India
2. Annual income of the beneficiary’s family must be below Rs. 600000/-
3. Age criteria for applicant varies in between 18 and 25 years

PFMS DBT (Direct Bank Transfer)

With the effective date of 1st January 2013, the government has announced a direct benefit transfer for the above-mentioned scheme for certain regions. By this program, the applicant will get the amount of scholarship directly transferred to their bank accounts. This is going to help many beneficiaries to get benefits in an effective manner as many middlemen will get removed. Direct bank transfer shows that money interaction is between the public financial management system and beneficiaries only.

Online Registration Process for PFMS Scholarship
