Over 3800+ houses will be allocated to the selected list of applicants through a transparent lottery system for the financial year 2023. These tenements are sanctioned under the various schemes offered by the currently active Pune and Aurangabad Board. Registration process for MHADA Lottery

To be able to get a house of your own via the MHADA Lottery 2023, the interested residents must apply for the same. The Government of Maharashtra has facilitated an online platform to carry out the application process with ease. The same can be processed through the official website of the MHADA Lottery @lottery.mhada.gov.in. Follow the procedure described below to apply for the MHADA Lottery scheme.

Step III:- The following homepage will open. To apply for the MHADA Lottery, you must click on the “Register” button as highlighted in the picture below.

Step IV:- The whole application process will take place in three stages,

Stage I: Registration

Step V:- A MHADA Lottery registration form will appear. Enter the following details in the designated spaces.

Step VIII:- Also, upload your photograph in the prescribed format and a copy of the PAN card. In the end, click on the “Confirm” button to submit the registration form.

Stage II: Lottery Application

Step IX:- A list of active lotteries will appear on the screen. Click on the “Apply” link against your desired lottery scheme.

Step X:- After that, select the scheme code, Applicant Type, Reservation Category, etc. Mention your PMAY status and feed details accordingly.

Step XI:- At last, tap on the “Submit” icon.

Along with the application cost of Rs. 500 per application, the applicants also need to deposit a minimal token amount depending upon the income group you are applying under. Also, Rs. 60 is added as GST to the application form.

The names of all the accepted applications are gathered in one place and segregated category-wise. The responsible authorities of the MHADA randomly select a name from the lot as many times as the no. of the houses are to allocated in each category. The chosen names have now won themselves an MHADA house. The same authorities compile the names into a list and publish it online along with forwarding it to the concerned Municipal Corporations. How to check the MHADA Lottery Waitlist 2023?

A waiting list is also published along with the winner’s list of the MHADA Lottery. This particular list will comprise the names of those applicants who have a chance to get themselves the house, in case the winners can pay the base amount in time and are no longer entitled to the procurement of the house. If the mentioned scenario arises, the allotment of the house is transferred to the waiting list applicant.

The procedure to check the MHADA Lottery Waitlist is as same as checking the winner’s list. The names of such applicants will be included at the end of the same PDF file.

What do I do after winning the MHADA Lottery?

• Once you have won a house through the MHADA Lottery Scheme, the authorities will send a “First Intimation Letter” to your address.
• The list of documents required to be submitted to proceed with the legal allotment will be included in the letter.
• The MHADA officials will verify and scrutinize the produced documents. If all the documents are found to be true, the same department will issue a “Provisional Offer Letter”.
• From the issue date of the POL, 25% of the total amount must be paid within 45 days and the rest 75% in the subsequent 60 days.
• If he/she fails to pay the amount, interest will be imposed in accordance with the no. of delayed days.
• A “Gala Vatap Patra” will be sanctioned, once the whole amount is paid successfully.
• Pay the requisite registration and stamp duty
• Submit the registration acknowledgment slip at the MHADA office.
• Obtain the three copies of the Possession Letter of the house, which must be submitted at your flat site, concerned bank, and respective Municipal Corporation.
• On submitting the possession letter at the allotted flat building, the concerned officials will hand over the keys to your very own apartment.

What is the MHADA Lottery Refund Policy?

Those applicants whose names are not selected for the allotment for the houses under the various housing schemes by the MHADA Lottery will get a refund of the application fee paid. Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority will make ensure that the payment is refunded within seven days of the result announcement.

If in any case the refund payment is credited within the mentioned time period, you can check your refund status in an easy online manner. To do the same, refer to the procedure described below.
