Digital Gujarat free scholarship yojana is for students coming from backward class families. Those who are not able to complete their education due to the lack of financial resources.
There are about 34 different types of scholarships being offered by the state government. These scholarships are being offered according to the level and eligibility. Benefits are being offered accordingly considering the same.
All of these scholarships are being offered by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment. The exceptions are Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojana, Gujarat which is offered by the Education Department of Gujarat, and the Higher Education Scheme which is offered by the Gujarat Government.
[Phase 1] Gujarat Digital Seva Setu Yojana
These scholarships are being offered to students through the DigitalGujarat Portal. This is a digital portal offering services to all the citizens of Gujarat. All the services offered by the government are available through this portal. These scholarships are disbursed using the same digital portal. So, the students can apply for these and become a beneficiary of these schemes by the state government.

How to apply for Gujarat Scholarship?
The scholarship applications were made open for the academic session of 2022-2023. Now the application process has ceased for the year. Although the student can apply for the next academic session. So, anyone aspiring for these scholarships can check the complete process and apply.
Before the students start applying for the scheme, they should know that they will need some important details like E-mail ID, mobile number, and Aadhar number. So, keep them handy before initiating the application. To apply for any of these scholarships, students first have to register in the DigitalGujarat Portal. The process to register is detailed below:
Digital Gujarat Registration
- Visit the official portal
- Click on the option of ‘Login‘ available at the top of the page.
- On the next directed digital Gujarat login page, there will be an option for new digital Gujarat registration. Click on the tab titled ‘Click for New Registration (Citizen)‘.
- A new form will open up. Fill in all the details asked and save it.
- You will receive a verification message on your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and proceed with the form filling.
- Verify your details and complete the process.
Profile Updating
The next step to apply for any of these scholarships is to update your profile. To do this, you can follow these steps:
- Students have to fill in all the essential details required in the form.
- Upload a photograph and click on the ‘Update’ button.
