Jai Johar Bandhu Prakalpa Scheme
Jai Johar and Bandhu Prakalpa are the two schemes launched to extend the pension benefits to elderly people. The former scheme will cover the old people of 60+ age of Scheduled Tribes while the latter will include the Scheduled Castes category. Under the scheme, incentives of Rs. 1000 per month to the eligible beneficiaries will be sanctioned. This will help them to be economically independent and be self-reliant.

Amit Mitra, Finance Minister announced the scheme on 10th February 2020 in the state budget FY 2020-21.
