Pravasi Rojgar app which is re-named as the Good Worker App is a part of the initiative by the famous Bollywood actor Mr. Sonu Sood. The initiative was started by the actor to help the migrants who have migrated from various places. The migrants who have been badly affected by the pandemic will be helped by providing them with a means of livelihood through the app.
It is a free application for migrants. Applicants do not need to go here and there in search of a job. Thereby, helping them to find all types of jobs on one portal. The application was launched in July 2020. With the Pravasi Rojgar Initiative, the actor aimed at offering more than 3 lakh jobs to the migrants. Currently, the portal is hosting more than 1.5 lakh jobs through the portal. More than 10 lakh migrant candidates are already making use of the portal.
Various companies supported his initiative and joined hands in offering employment to all such people. There are about 500 companies of various sectors that are a part of this initiative.
