Types of Manipur Ration Card
People in Manipur are issued three types of Ration Cards depending upon their economic conditions. The three types of ration cards are
- Above poverty line Ration card is issued to those applicants who belong to the above the poverty line category. The poverty line is as per the rules and regulations of the concerned authorities of the Food Corporation of India. This category of beneficiaries is granted 10 kg-20 kg of food grains per household on the monthly basis at full economic value.
- Below poverty line ration card is issued to people falling below determined by the poverty line Food Corporation of India. Such cardholders can purchase the rationed goods from the authorized ration shops at the subsidized rates decided by the government. 10 kg- 20 kg of food grains are allocated to the beneficiaries under this category at half of the economic cost.
- Annapoorna anna yojana Ration card is granted to the poor senior citizens of Manipur who have crossed the age bar of 65 years. 10 kilograms of food grains are disbursed for this category of ration cardholders.

Step I:- Firstly the interested beneficiaries must visit the office of the Department of Food and Civil Supply. Obtain an application form to apply for a new ration card.
Step II:- After getting the application form for the same, the applicants must fill the application form providing correct information. Fill in all the fields, including signature.
Step III:- Affix your recent passport-sized photograph in the space provided. Also, attach the photocopies of the required documents.
Step IV:- Submit the duly filled application form to the concerned officials and take an acknowledgement slip.
Step V:- The acknowledgement slip will contain an application number that must be preserved for future purposes. The authorities will verify the documents and will be processed further.
Step VI:- Upon successful verification, a new ration card will be issued, which will be delivered to the registered address of the applicant.

Step I:- On the homepage of the ePDS Manipur, you will find the option of “Others” on the menu bar at the left of the page. Click on the “Ration Card Search” from the drop-down list that ascends.
Step II:- The following page will open. Click on the option of “Search your Ration Card Application”.
Step III:- You will be provided with two options to proceed further in the process. Choose your suitable option.
Step IV:- Lastly, enter the reference number in the space provided and click on the “Continue” button.

Step I:- First of all, go to the official website of ePDS Manipur. On the homepage, click on the “Reports” option under the “MIS and Reports” tab.
Step II:- The following list of options will appear. Click on the “RC Application Status Report” to view your application status.
Step III:- Select your district from the drop-down list. Also, select the time period of your application. Further, click on the “Generate Report” button.
